At last, a post making lots of sense

The Gulf States are fuming at Trump and Bibi for starting this war, they are suffering finantially from it and will keep suffering in the future as the Gulf´s reputation as a safe place to do business (and tourism) has been shattered.

From published reports it seems that KSA, Kuwait, UAE, Bahrain want America to continue pursuing the war until Iran is no longer a threat. Qatar is sending mixed messaging. All are certainly suffering from the war. KSA to a lessor extent since they are able to export half their prewar production to the Red Sea.

Pretty strong words from the UAE Minister of State

"We should not allow Iran, a state sponsor of terrorism, to set the global price for food and gas"
UAE Minister of State Lana Nusseibeh in an exclusive interview with @BretBaier
warns Iran’s actions could have global economic consequences, with critical energy and supply routes

"What happens in the gulf, doesn't stay in the gulf"

Furthermore..Iran has acknowleged Trumps TACO..they know he is bluffing..

Is knowing Trump is bluffing the reason the top 40 leaders all met together on February 28.

Secret Service Agent accidentally shoots himself while on security detail for Jill Biden.

Wondering if he was carrying one of those South Korean pistols?
Was it truly an accident or was the Agent just trying to get away from the good “Dr. Jill”?

it's kinda sporty in here these days.

Quick question for the peanut gallery - especially those that know more about energy infrastructure.

If the US has established influence in Venezuela, this partially reduces oil flow to China.
If we stop up the Gulf oil flow, it reduces oil flow to China.
If we neutralize the Iranian problem and restore flow, it reduces the flow or increases the cost to China.

Meanwhile, without knowing the real #'s, I think the US imports less than 5-10% of oil and gas from the region as we are pretty much self sufficient thanks to shale extraction tech.

Is there an angle at play where, as long as we don't send in troops, we just keep laying waste to Iran until the threat is eliminated and in the worst case, even if the surrounding oil production infrastructure of the Gulf region is decimated, America becomes the primary oil & gas seller?

Further along - Trump has disparaged NATO in the past and recently. He's not a fan of the UN, and I would posit, he's not looking at the EU as friends as much as parasites in an economic sense.

This situation would leave EU hurting for fuel, China impacted on it's oil supply from 2 major sources, NATO and UN on a path to breaking up, and leaving EU to face the ever-perceived threat of Russia (not stating opinion here... just noticing an eternal trend) on their own without US funding or treaty support.

The Euro collapses, the US maintains dollar as the reserve currency and it now has a path to grow stronger.
Interesting post. One point: I think the US will do almost anything to keep reserve currency status, as would be in our national interest, especially noting our ridiculous debt load, and the attendant doubt that creates in the minds of those who are currently lending to us. Petro dollar component noted as part of reserve status protection. Unfortunately, we have socialist morons who would not mind creating a crisis they could exploit to result in full blown socialism/communism. They do NOT curtail spending. (neither do conservatives at this point) Since we are at stage 6 of the collapse cycle, we cannot afford to allow them to play with our future. Trump, as all leaders of former failed currencies have tried, is attempting to coerce compliance with the dollar, perhaps now with tariffs, and also moves to position us favorably and strategically. Such strategies have usually failed in the past, having the unintended consequence of creating uncertainty amongst those whom the leader is trying to return to the corral, a bad spiral. This is why I cringe at alienating our allies. So will he be the first to turn things around from stage 6? Will his policies position us to soar and succeed? Or will a crisis precipitate our demise as world currency leader? I see America's long term contribution as a force for good in the world, so I am rooting for turnaround/rejuvenation. New manufacturing investments clearly help and enhance our independence. But we may have to be ruthless with domestic enemies. Remember the oath of every office--to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC? I am beginning to see liberals as a domestic enemy, sad to say. And I wish Kash Patel would put the fear of God in such enemies by bringing them up on charges.
I guess it would be too much to ask, for DOGE to follow up with charges/confiscations as well.....

Why does she need secret service anyway?

Does Jan 6, 2021 count?
No because THEY WERE NOT ARMED, DID NOT BURN THINGS, WERE LED INSIDE A GATED AREA. Did you see Molotov cocktails--no. And they deserved to demonstrate en masse--that election was stolen by fraud, I don't care who spews how many slick lies.
But I knew someone would bring it up...

What you BETTER hope is that there is never an anger on the right that does what the left has done.

Nyati

Just curious if you went to the hunting show in Madrid last weekend. If so, how was attendance compared to most years and how did the African outfitters seem to be doing?

As of right now the republicans don’t have the votes to pass it in the house. Freedom Caucus is not supporting the bill.
The House is correct to kick it back because it would defund ICE and Border Patrol. Senate Republicans went along with a horrible "compromise" funding bill, just so they could go home on break! Unbelievable!

Show starts on a Thursday afternoon, which is when I go, much less attendance and an opportunity to talk to friends. Too early to answer your question as to how the African Outfitters were doing

2026 had 332 stands and 30.000 visitors, can´t find figures for last year, but 2024 was 280 stands and 36.000 visitors.

Glad to see the show is growing from an exhibitors perspective. Sad to see attendance down some but not too bad. I’m sure the war/uncertainty played a part in that.

Thune the buffoon never disappoints

Yes, we are hitting targets in Iran, but this man is deluded if he thinks the regime will be "Fundamentally Changed" for any length of time. I openly stated several pages back that if all we do is bomb Iran from 30,000ft, NOTHING will change long term.

Read the comments below the video. A high 90%+ of all comments on any video concerning this war favor REMOVING this regime. Finish the job NOW, because the American people will not support going back in to do this same thing again.

Hello,

Am I reading your post correctly to say that the Tsavo rifle will be coming out with a composite stock later this year? I ask because I had been looking very hard for a Tsavo, but if there is going to be a composite stock model I will wait for that.

Thank you for your time,

Andrew

Saw your post. Nice. Denver too. Genesee area (just off 70) if ever up this way. Alternatively, do you have a membership at GGC? Whatever, you'll have a wonderful time in Africa. Enjoy.
