Read the article. Trump took the post down from his Truth Social soap box on Friday. I'm sure you can find copies on the internet if you want. The context was babbling the same old nonsense about stolen election. And the press secretary berated reporters for wasting their time following Trump's mindless social media posts. But she's not concerned about him wasting his time (and taxpayer dollars) tilting at that windmill ... over and over.

I find it curious that every media outlet is talking about it.. but literally no one has any actual evidence of it..

not a single news source managed to capture a screen shot?

even the source video that he supposedly forwarded/shared isnt available anywhere on the internet?

they can tell you everything about it.. its 62 seconds long.. that it is based on lion king characters.. that Joe Biden is depicted as an ape eating a banana.. etc..

but not a single screen shot.. not a single copy of the video.. not a single shred of actual evidence is available that it exists..

Im not saying that it doesnt exist.. I genuintely dont know..

but there are +/- 6.3M daily users of Truth Social.. and every media outlet in the country monitors it every single moment of the day because they know thats where Trump is going to say controversial shit..

I also see the media mis-quoting others regarding the supposed video.. for example, several led with a headline where Tim Scott, a republican, condemned the video saying it was the most racist thing he has seen out of the white house, etc..

well.. thats not what Tim Scott said... go read his Tweet/X... what he said was "I am praying this is fake, because its the most racist thing Ive seen coming out of this White House".. they conveniently leave out that Scott questions the validity of the entire thing.. and IF it is real, then he thinks it is racist..

I find it very educational to see what it takes to set off the socialists, which seems to be everything. The Conservatives seem to explain the common sense side of the issues many times before they resort to names, as that is all the socialist seem to understand.

It's a real shame that AH allows political debates. Otherwise, the forum would be excellent. However, the political forum is primarily frequented by right-wing extremists who are free to write and post whatever they want, no matter how crude and tasteless. It seems to be almost entirely a Republican forum.

It's striking that both the owner and the moderators only intervene when someone posts something anti-Trump. This suggests that they, too, are adhering to the Republican line. AH wants to promote right-wing ideology; otherwise, why would the political forum exist?

I sincerely wish the political forum would disappear completely, because then AH would be the best forum around.

it all started with CNN in 1980.. Ted Turner didnt intend on it being a replacement for the nightly news.. it was designed to provide subject matter experts in areas to discuss what was happening in the world, and to provide people with an opinion.. it was supposed to be a supplement..

Unfortuneately our entire "news" system has morphed into nothing more than opinion pieces and editorials.. we are no longer presented with cold hard facts and then left to determine our own opinions..

All of that said... to answer the "libturd press" question.. the overwhelming majority of media outlets in the US.. everything from news channels to newspapers to magazines, etc are owned by known liberals.. many of whom are major political backers and financial donors to the Democrat party.. some are clearly worse than others.. but most are very overtly and intentionally bad about presenting liberal bias in pretty much every report..

Doesn't much matter the country, as it seems all Liberal Governments these days have quite shifted or totally shifted left wing to Socialism in nature and anti-gun to the VERY hilt. Just witness Australia's new gun laws and Canada's as well. Totally totalitarian/Marxist all the way.

It’s amazing how two media sources can watch the same speech and have polar opposite reports on it. Like you said, everything is an opinion piece. And to go another step deeper, a lot of people are getting their news from people giving their opinion of an opinion piece (Thanks FB, X, TikTok, etc..)!

youve been a member 2 weeks... I'd argue that your observations are WAY off base.. and you truly dont know what youre talking about.. perhaps you should dig a little deeper and look back a little further and then draw an opinion..

the overwhelming majority of people that participate in this thread tend to be moderates and centrists.. there are certainly a handful on the extreme far right.. but there are also a handful on the extreme far left.. both tend to get questioned by not only each other (where you see the deepest conflict), but also by the centrists when BS is presented.. recently far more unsubstantiated BS has been presented by the more prolific leftists... look back pre Nov 2024... you'll see quite a bit more heavy questioning and pointed responses at the more prolific far right wingers..

Among our more "conservative" Europeans friends.. when compared to US politics, they are generally on their best day a moderate by US standards.. the left leaning European members tend to be VERY far left leaning by American standards..

most of the most prolific posters in this thread are FAR from MAGA however.. most in fact will tell you that they are no fan of Trump at all.. that however doesnt mean they are liberals.. they are just as tired of the nonsense seen out of the AOC's, Bernies, Talibs, Omars, and Crocketts as they are out of Trump..

Its not striking that the owner of this website allows a politics forum.. he is catering to the wants and desires of the websites membership.. the thread is clearly one of, if not the most heavily trafficed thread on the website..
