The big problem is if people don't change their lifestyle those drugs will never be effective.Yep I saw a white house announce that the gov will pay for " ozempic" wieght loss program. MY first thot was heck no, Why, but on a little more reflective thots ,yea. will save a ton on diabetes ,ect. for the tax payers.
When my brother in law had his one knee replaced I would take him to his physical therapy. I started just watching the people walk through the doors for the office that his therapist was located in. I saw that most that were overweight and quite likely way out of shape were packing 64 oz jugs of their favorite beverage, where those who were slim and trim were packing water bottles or just 12-16 oz bottles and I highly doubt that they were sugar loaded drinks.
