So I’m sitting quietly enjoying a mild Georgia morning in my 16 foot tripod stand. Suddenly I hear a noise to my left and turn to see my Swarovski SLC 10X42 binoculars starting their 19 foot journey to Mother Earth. I think, no big deal. Sure I’ve ruined a small moment of this perfect morning but I’ll just go down and get them and reset back to the peaceful scene I was enjoying just a few seconds ago. This is what I found when I got to the ground. [emoji31] Time to try out that world class customer service they are so famous for.

Yikes!

From what I’ve heard about their customer service I believe they will take care of it. If they don’t then I’ve got two really nice monoculars. [emoji16][emoji16]

And monoculars take up a lot less space - keep one in your truck.

Man that hurts! Glad it wasn’t you at 19’!
Think I’ll try to remember to keep mine around my neck, or pile a bunch of leaves on the ground under it.

Best of luck with Swarovski! Keep us informed please.

My wife and I just sent both of our Swarovski binoculars in for repair. My pair they just sent me a new pair to replace mine and they repaired the wife's. Both binoculars were over 25 years old. No cost to us other than the shipping to them. Great customer service! Hope your experience is as good as ours!!

That's rough. I'm sure they will take care of you.

I'm betting that they will send you a new pair.

But I would also wager that they could hear you crying a long ways off when you got out of your stand to see what they looked like.

You really only need one mono so you could send the other to me. :)

I can’t keep a $20 pair of sunglasses for more than 2 months. That is why I never spent $2,000 for Bino’s. Sorry for your loss hopefully they will come through.

Extreme fluke of a landing I'll bet. Looks like the ground was a bit soggy. I'd have expected a bounce

i know what you want for Xmas .
it might be the be nice to wifey week .:A Hug::A Hug::A Hug:

I just saw Budsgunshop.com has both the guide gun and the African for $1150. FWIW - I bought both and decided to use the Guide gun - I restocked it in a Bell and Carlson stock and I added the Alaska arms floor plate to add a round. I wanted the shorter barrel as I will use a suppressor. I wont go lower than $1100, but I will ship it and no sales tax.

Let me know if you are interested
