Hi.
I am a new member to AH. I have been hunting for 25 years yet am working as a Mechanical engineer.
It have been a dream to be able to work as a PH/ outfitter, yet at the age of 38 it will most probably not realize?

I made a choice to start living my dream and will book my PH course in due time.
Maybe someone can give me some allignment and or "tips" knowing my background.

Hello and welcome!

Welcome to AH.
There are several threads on the topic. Just run a search.
Good luck.

Giday and weIcome to the A H forums DLRX. Chasing dreams is what keeps life exciting

DLRX, welcome to AH! I too was an engineer. It was a good life giving me enough funds to do what I mostly wanted to. Not likely being a PH will fund you nearly like engineering. But maybe it will support your dream.
Best of luck in your goals!

Thank you for the feedback, I believe the quantity of "stress calcs" have reached excessive limits.
Now the big question ....how?
I have send a few mails and hopefully I can do a PH course before the close of the year?

Welcome aboard DLRX. From a financial standpoint keeping your day job will make a lot more sense. However you might be able to take a "sabbatical" from time to time. Especially if there are slack periods in your line of work.

The kickoff will follow your recommendations.
I plan on taking early persion (financial planning to govern the date and time) only then to do HUNTs on a more permanent base.
From now until then I have no other option to stick to my day job. I will have a soft start and as said "take a sabbatical"

Welcome and best of luck!

Hello! I saw your post from last year about a missing crate from your hunt in Moz. I am curious how that all turned out? We (my fiancé and I) also hunted in Moz in 2024 and the trophies are being shipped with Hunters Services Limitada. We have some concerns on whether we will get the trophies home or not. May I ask who you hunted with?
