Hello from Norway..

I have been lurking here for a while....I am 52, work as a shift manager on an offshore oil rig in the North Sea, ex mil.-officer.

My interests are hunting and fine weapons...I hunt birds like ptarmigan in our mountains and black grouse in the forest with my Gordon setter...and moose in the lowland.

I love british side by side shotguns, Mausers, Mannlicher-Schønauers and british double rifles, have hunted Namibia twice and have been bitten severely by the Africa bug. I regret that I did not hunt Africa before passing 50...plan to go each year in the future..!

Awesome! I have seen pictures, it's beautiful there. I haven't got to go yet but I would like to. My father went several years ago and stayed with family that we still have there.

Welcome, I don't think you're ever to old to hunt Africa but maybe to old to fly there , the flight is killer from the states here.
