Hi to all...
My name is Christoph i am 29 years old and i call a little Village in Lower Austria home!
My Dad was a PH here in Austria and hunted a lot in the USA and Canada so i was always surrounded by Hunting since my early years but i do active Hunting just since 5 years but anyway i was able to take a lot of Game mostly in Hungary in that 5 years..... Wild Boars,Red Stags,Fallow Buck and Roe Deer and so on....
The last 2 years i was thinkin about what Gift i should get myself for my 30th Birthday...
There were only two choices for me! 1. Cape Buffalo and 2. Elk in the Rut!
2 weeks ago it turned out to be Nr.1 as i have found a real good Buffalo Offer with Thwane Safaris in SA...
3 Days later i booked my flights an sendet a deposit to SA
I was browsing the www for SA Hunt Infos and found this great Community and here i am

Back (way back) in the late seventies I twice shot with German friends in the Austrian hunting matches. Can't remember where they were held, but it was large event. As I remember, the course included trap, skeet, light rifle, and big game caliber. I also hunted red deer in the Tyrol. You live in one of the most beautiful places in the world. @Red Leg It´s possible that this hunting match was in Wiener Neustadt because there is the biggest Shooting Ranch in Austria!?
Let´s see how long we will be one of the beautifullest places in the World because we have a huge problem to be overran by people from Iraq Syria and so on....
Crime Rates are increasing day by day sexual assaults on Woman in Germany and Austria every day by Refugees and lot´s more of Shit is happening here right now!!

Welcome. You are obviously an experienced hunter so relax, you are among friends. All of us are interested in hunting African game. Most of the AH members have been or are planning to go on a safari. Ask any question you like and someone will be able to answer it. Don't be concerned about your English it's fine. If you really get hung up about how to say or ask something SAY IT IN YOUR NATIVE LANGUAGE and I'll bet you will get an answer. We have members from all over the world. On one of my many business trips to Germany I once had an engineer say to me that I would probably think little of him because he didn't speak English very well. My reply was that I didn't speak German very well either but that I hoped he did.
