Hi all,

I am planning my first trip to Africa with my son who will be graduating high school in 2012. We have been looking for an adventure trip for his graduation, what better than an Africa safari. We live in north central Idaho near the Salmon and Snake Rivers. We have opportunities to hunt mule deer, white tails, elk, black bear, cougar, moose etc.
We also spend a fair amount of time chasing waterfowl.

I love the anticipation and planning of a trip like this and hope I can glean some knowledge from those more experienced than I.

Thanks,

Bryan

either you should come to south africa or namibia are 2 good places but africa is africa sir! no matter where you hunt!
All the best
Ibie

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
