Back at the Afton safari lodge our Buffalo hunter is safely back at the Airport for his flight back to the USA, tomorrow morning I am off to Highveld Taxidermy with a full load of trophies.

I just returned from a 10 day buffalo hunt with @HENRY GRIFFITHS SAFARIS at Bokpan, his hunting area in Northwest Province.

I had a GREAT time, a WONDERFUL hunt, took a beautiful buffalo (it was exactly what I was looking for - see avatar) and thoroughly enjoyed everything thoroughly.

Henry is a FANTASTIC PH. He really know his profession, was easy and fun to talk to and learn from, and made it as easy as a buffalo hunt can be. We walked a far bit and looked over a bunch of buffalo. I saw buffalo (and lots of other game) every day. Tanya is a wonderful host and an excellent cook...

We had a few more relaxed days after the buffalo hunt and I caught up with all my paperwork and all trophies have been safely delivered to Highveld taxidermy.

Last night I drove from the hunting area to Afton Safari lodge were I spend the night. Our hunter is arriving @ 9:45 this morning I will meet him at the airport and we will head out to Safari & Outdoor for a bit of shopping and then make the drive out to the hunting area.

We are doing a plains game spot and stalk hunt for 6 days! pictures to follow soon.

Im also working on a few more packages for AH for the deals section.

Hi, That was our 2025 trip, this coming year I'm starting in Denver on the 7th of January and will be traveling down to Atlanta Georgia for a few weeks I should make it to Arkansas this year I have a clients there! Maybe a Duck hunt is possible in 2026?
