A cordial hello from Virginia USA, where I just was notified I have again failed to win the elk lottery, the bear population is through the roof, and after about mmmm four maybe more years of fail fail fail I finally got a gobbler again. And it was easy!

Hunting can be strange.

Cheers.

Welcome to AH! Congrats on the turkey, easy or not.

Welcome Sir!! Glad to have you here with the rest of us! By chance have you previously hunted in Africa?

:S Welcome:

Thanks all! I have been to Africa, working, not hunting, Gulf of Guinea countries, a couple times. Even to remote-ish, wild-ish places, however briefly.

Got the bug, going next year, working on the battery and the skills now.

Am in suburban NOVA, Russ.

Good day! Welcome!

So what and how do you guys like to hunt for in Africa?
plains game , spot and stalk will be the most common I believe.
The most common dangerous game is buffalo spot and stalk.
I have set some water holes and that is a unique experience watch game come in.

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
