To be fair, select Republican Senators have stalled the SAVE Act. Even though, a large majority of polled citizens support the bill. It is time for everyone to accept the federal government is not honest, or acting in the interest of their constituents, regardless of political party.

I’m well aware. I just hope everyone opens their eyes. I, admittedly, don’t support Democrats. I also can see the hypocrisy and lack of motivation from the Republican Party. It is a singular, political party running the USA. Most citizens refuse to accept, or recognize this simple fact.

We here in WNC have welcomed all help after Hurricane Helene. Of course, Lesley Stahl and 60 Minutes have ignored the Amish and Mennonites who have been here from Day One. Not to mention the guy (Jake Jarvis) with an excavation company who literally dug out much of the community of Chimney Rock and refuses to take any money for it.
