The first 2 shots were off hand at 50 yards. The first was good and I completely pulled the second. Thwn I popped on to the sticks and popped off both barrels fast.

Hornady DGX bonded. I'll pop some barnes next and then switch to some solids.

Nice man!

Did you buy the rifle from Heym or from a dealer? I have called their office a few times and left some voicemails to try and order one, but I have not yet heard back.

CONGRATS on the Heym 500NE! The Heym 500NE is my personal favorite DGR....you will love it.

That's what we all want. Beautiful rifle. I'm really interested in the difference in hits between different bullets?
I see that your skill as a shooter is excellent. What's the recoil like?

The first was dead center, off hand at 50 yards. I badly pulled the second to the right. All on me. Then the sticks put them in the photo close together. All at 50 yards.

I have a .470ne 88b that I have yet to fire and a .450ne coming. I am very interested in the differences. The .500 is on a much broader stock. It is a chunk.

I have related the "shove" of the .500ne to the only other big shove i get which is a 3.5in goose or turkey load in a single barrel shotgun. It isn't sharp but it is stout.

I get the same response from everyone that shoots it the first time -"Holy cow" as they gather themselves to shoot the second barrel. Then the smile and giggling start.

I try and not shoot more than 6 rounds and then switch to a smaller rifle. I have a double rifle in .22 hornet but it needs some safety work but that will be my "time-out" gun so I am practicing sight picture and two triggers.

I bought form a forum member here. Thw discount between new and used is too wide for me not to buy used...for me anyway. These guns are shot so little and build to withstand so much punishment. The .500ne and the .470ne are used and so tight as to make breaking them difficult. I mean super super tight. The tolerances these are made too is shocking to me.

My 470 88 took a good 500 rounds for it to open easily. My 450 89 is getting there with roughly 800 rounds through it. It’s still a little tough to put together but nothing like when it was new.

See you are from Denmark - see quite a few Danes where I stalk in Scotland - great hunters.
The Harkilia stuff works well in Africa - I have a bit for use here in UK.
I am again looking for 600 Nitro dies preferably RCBS 1 inch. The set I purchased previously are 1 1/2 inch and do not fit my die. Another member has graciously taken them off my hands. If anyone happens to have a set of 600 Nitro Dies that will fit my Rockchucker Supreme RCBS press, please shoot me a message and thanks in advance for any assistance you may have to offer!
I have not posted any items for sale on this forum and will not every put anything for sale. My account was hacked and I've worked with the admin to get things shut down.
