SCI Convention 2026 - Who Is Joining Me?

When you arrive at the convention center go to the kiosks and scan your bar code. It will then print your badge and any tickets for evening events etc that you have purchased. Each person will have their own bar code. I have mine stored in my Apple wallet for convenience. Then you can get a badge holder and convention bag and be off to explore!
SCI emailed me with a bar code for my brother (guest), but haven't sent one for me. Is there someone in particular that I can/should contact?

I don’t know the details of why you did not receive your SCI Convention bar code but this is what happened to me.

Preparing for my wife and I to fly to Nashville for the SCI Convention I realized that did not have an email from SCI with my day pass bar codes. I tried to log into the SCI website but received a response that my email address was invalid. Hmmm, I thought, had I ever logged into the SCI site? Probably not…

I called SCI member services and since they were extra busy the week before the convention, I did as their phone greeting requested and left a message with my SCI member number and my phone number. An SCI represented returned my call in an hour or two and quickly discovered one incorrect letter in the email they had on file for me. The rep corrected my email in the SCI files.

Note: The SCI contact number is on their website but since someone will ask rather than a simple web search, here it is, 888-486-8724 .

I discussed the missing bar codes with the rep who although could not send them to me. Member Services confirmed that I had paid for convention day passes but an SCI convention staff member would need to send me the bar codes. The rep sent an internal SCI message for me to the SCI convention staff. By the end of the day an SCI convention representative called me and within a minute or two of a pleasant conversation, I received an email with my SCI day pass bar code and another with my wife’s bar code.

I provided the above to highlight the diligence that even a week before the busiest event of SCI’s year, their staff quickly, professionally, and friendly resolved an issue that could have resulted in a royal Charlie Foxtrot of extra time waiting in line at the convention doors.

5-Gold Stars to SCI!!! Little things like this gain customer loyalty.

Check spam etc and also make sure it is not all on one barcode(should be separate). Ours came in a couple days apart. If not just call the office.
this year it will allow you to put the confirmation in your Apple wallet. How convenient!

We'll be there in booth 306, look forward to seeing you Phillip and all the AH Brethren!

Thanks Mark. Just got off the phone with Member Services. Even though the email with a bar code came in addressed to my brother, the lady said the bar code was for the group, which would include me (I hope, lol). She also indicated that they have had several instances like this, one email for a group, but not always addressed to the member.
Appreciate your reply, as well as @Philip Glass . Looking forward to meeting you guys next week!

This is good to know. Everyone is stressed and busy in the office leading up to the convention. Worse case scenario would be waiting in line at the convention center. As with anything arriving early in the day makes a huge difference.
I am at DFW on my way!

Sorry to hear that!

Won’t make SCI this year.. but, SCI motivated me to break out the checkbook this week lol…

I’ve been talking with a couple of Croatian outfitters for the last few weeks… one in particular is going to be at SCI, and 2026 is already completely booked for them either the exception of 1 week in September… which happens to work really well with my schedule this year..

I wasn’t about to let them man a booth at SCI with those dates still on the table lol…

We signed the contract last night… :)

I have everything in order for the 18th. Got the secret handshake and weird wink down pat. Just need to find the hat!

I am in Nashville helping with exhibitor move in. We are ahead of schedule and today will be busy! It's fun to be behind the scenes.

I’m driving up Friday to attend the AH dinner and will be at the show all day Saturday. I would prefer more time but this is the best I could do given my work schedule this year. Looking forward to it.
That’s great you were able to fit it in. I’m looking forward to attending next year.

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to get in contact with Mr Butch Searcy. I have the opportunity to buy one of his rifles chambered in 577 nitro Express however the seller does not have any of the paperwork with the information about what ammunition or bullet weight was used to regulate it. I know he is not making firearms anymore but I wanted to reach out after seeing one of your post about him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl

Hey Steve, This is Steve Washington we met at KMG last year. I am interested in your Winchester. Would love to speak with you about it. I work third shift and I cannot take a phone with me to work. Let me know a good time to call during one of your mornings. My phone is [redacted]. Live in Florida so I have to account for the time difference.
Look forward to hearing from you.
