You are definitely "The Sable Guy"

solid offer Spike- one day I'm going to come drink your booze in repayment of the AH dinner drinks I spotted you and your lovely company. :D Cheers:

You haven't lived until you've seen Mike's Sable. After having been to Takeri, I laugh whenever I see an outfitter offer a hunt with "up to a 40" Sable". It really is a unique place.

Great place to hunt. Anyone who does this hunt will have a good time.

Wow, amazing offer. I have got to figure out when I can finally make a hunt like this happen with you. Puku would be numero uno on the list as well as the bushbuck and sable.

Great offer! If you are thinking of hunting Zambia, you should go, you wont regret it!

Right...... it would have happened this last trip but I had 5 of us that all but 2 needed separate arrangements. I’m determined to get there and bring Brandi so we can see Vic falls and spend a week or more with you so Brandi and I can have a proper vacation.

Do you hunt Lion in the Takeri Reserve ?

Is this a ranch, how big is the ranch?

Where do you fly into beyond Lusaka? Is a charter required?

Is the ranch high fenced?

What other species are available? Fishing?

I was out at takeri this last weekend. We had a holiday on Tuesday so decided to take Monday off work and make it a long weekend.
with all the long grass it was hard to spot animals but we did see some good numbers and for those wanting a sable teaser, here’s a “little” guy ;)

If you’re keen on a little fishing, this big guy was caught drifting a rubber worm along the rocky bottom about 800m upstream from takeri

And of course, the obligatory fire pic!

Hi its 3100 hectares...its not a square block so the shape makes it seem a lot bigger...there is 12kns of fence and 16kms of river that is the other boundary which isnt fenced....you fly into lusaka and we drive up approx 6.5 hours or ndola which is approx 3.5 hours....there is some fishing but later in the year the river drops a lot and is shallow in places so limited even in the small boat where can go, but is possible...or can do hunting at takeri and fishing on lower zambezi at kingfisher lodge . Website below
Will send you pm with my cell number with WhatsApp ìf you would like more info
