on a lighter note...

Oh yeah, and a few others not listed. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
My parents were firm, not strict. Then I had the good fortune to attend some finishing schools- which I perceive that others had been to also. First was US Navy and second was US Army!

I had this short piece from Second Hand Lions pop up on my feed today, I can watch it over and over

Never mess with a old man.

This is one of my favorite movies! Thanks for posting one of the best parts of it! :)

Apologies if I already posted this. It’s exactly how we talk. It took me 30 years to correctly pronounce simple words and phrases:

Bag
Bagel
Good day
Yeah
You guys
Three
Them

Yep, it's how we speak.

A test was devised for a graduate of a military survival school. A marine was placed in Death Valley for 2 weeks. He was equipped with food, water, shelter for 2 weeks, also radio gear and an 100 pound anvil. He was required to keep a logbook. When he was picked up his log noted the following: Day 8-food gone, day 12-water gone. day 13-anvil broke.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
