(old - left - is the best)
The bullet is perfect in accuracy, including from the choke, and trouble-free in reloading. In a sense, this is Brenneke at a modern technical level.

7,62x54R. Like 308, but more usable in double.
Not everyone knows that from this caliber you can shoot 308 cartridges, especially in a brass brass. True, you need a strong ramrod for reloading.

9.3x64Breneke

Favorites . . .
22-250 - Perfect for most animals. Hits well above it's weight class.
257 Roberts (Ackley version too) - Awesome
9.3x62 - Taylor & Aagaard put it succinctly, a work horse that always gets the job done. All time favorite.
For Africa
416 Remington
9.3x62
257 Weatherby
* 257 caliber rifles produce dramatic results on game animals.
* 9.3 - hands down, if I was limited to just one caliber.
* 416 - well, you just gotta have a heavy.

Since I'm bound to only 3 here we go:

1. Win M70 243
2. Win M70 300 Win Mag
3. Win M70 375 H&H

The do all, be all Trio of death for this guy.

Excellent choices! Hard to argue with these. Varmint all the way up to dangerous game.

7mm rem mag
318 Westly Richards
416 Rigby

Damm you all for only 3

30-30, the rifle that started my love for Hunting, and kept me up reading old outdoor life magazines in my youth.
.270 my go to, has never ever. Let me down.
.350 rem Mag, most underrated caliber ever made. It hits Big Game like a sledgehammer, and the ballistics don’t back it up. It just does......

Iv'e had many favorites over the years but my current picks are :
.204 Ruger
.257 Roberts
.300 Savage
>338 win mag
450 Rigby
I feel like I'm cheating on my 7x57 ,.270 , .17 Rem.

Man that is a tough choice.
223AI
243AI
7mm Rem. mag

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
