Would you like a Cigar?

Smoking a Camacho pre-embargo Jamastran cigar. Unfortunately this is the old label, no longer made.

I had a friend from Tucson visit Kentucky and he asked how everyone could afford to water all this grass :ROFLMAO:

He had only ever been in the desert. Had no idea that grass can exist outside a golf course.

He also mistook tobacco for really big lettuce.

Negatory ghost rider! We may not get as much as other places but we get our share from the various desert plants/trees that we have. We even have a pine that will survive the summers in Phoenix. I never had allergy issues like I do now until I moved here. At one time this was the place to come to escape allergies.

I bet, but most of WV only gets sun 3 hours a day down in the hollers ;). Grass is great, but 300+ days of sun in open county has it’s perks. (Like better cigar weather)

I just finished smoking a local, Dominican cigar. I’m not a regular cigar smoker so this was an interesting and enjoyable experience. Since there was no ashtray to be found anywhere in the hotel I’m staying at, I have fashioned one from a coconut shell. Washed it down with some local rum.

I’d hate to torment others with my smoking but since half the hotel is empty my smoking it on the balcony didn’t bother anyone nor was it against the hotel policy (I asked).

You going to post a trip report?. Would definitely like to hear about it !
Definitely will! just sitting in E. London for my first flight back to the states. Not looking forward to the long haul...

I'll be going to the East Cape at the end of May in 22, so I better pack a rain jacket. LOL!!!! Did you guys hunt in the rain???

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
