Would you like a Cigar?

It’s a beautiful evening, look what I received today :)

Power just went out where I'm at. All the drivers on the road can't drive when it rains, and they go into "Full Idiot mode" when it snows.

Nashville drivers in full idiot mode 24/7. Rain or snow is just the convenient excuse for the inevitable wreck. We tend to shut down if snow is forecast for Oklahoma. Heck our schools closed for a day two weeks ago because it was below freezing.

One of my Favorites in that price range, is the My Father-Le Bijou. My local shop charges about $13 a single stick. I buy them online for much cheaper. I just bought a full box, and get them at just over $8.00 each in quantity.

It's a 97 rated Cigar, and took Cigar of the year honors awhile back.View attachment 385940

Your picture made me tear up. I had to go fire up a Bijou just to feel better!

I predict a semi-truck rolling up to Oscar's house soon. LOL.

Appreciate the heads up on the sale. Unfortunately, I just spent my cigar budget for the next couple months on my incoming order.

I've been trying to smoke all my flavored cigars so I don't have to care for another separate humidor. I think I only have about a dozen or so left. Had this ACID 1400CC on the morning dog walk - not bad at all for 5am

I enjoy one if I’m certain to have some privacy for awhile or like minded company. Few things I find more irritating than someone deciding to crash my little party then whining and griping about the smoke.

Still have a full humidor but haven't smoked any since I contracted covid back in October. Lungs are just now starting to feel normal again. Made for my worst fall in many years.

Got in a shipment from Mike’s Cigars. Among the boxes of MF Le Bijou and La Promesa, Camacho Corojo and a couple others, I found a box that I thought I would give a try. These were Perez Carrillo La Historia. A beautiful box pressed cigar, rich and full, with a bit of smooth fruit taste to go along with the earthy, flavorful draw. This would be what I term a “special” occasion cigar because they are about $10 a stick online in a box. But man this is a dam fine smoke.

Since you are feeling better, maybe you can enjoy a couple?

The Wise Man Gueguense: I have smoked one of these before but if I remember correctly I wasn't blown away. I would have to look back to see what I thought but now that it has aged in the humidor for probably 4+ months this was an outstanding smoke. First couple inches was a bit harsh with quite a pepper blast but the remainder was outstanding (even for my early AM walk) hints of coffee and earth tones.
I just looked and this was rated 95 and #3 cigar for 2018. I guess the aging really helped...

Hey my friend, I am returning to SA for a Cape Buffalo hunt in June 26. My outfitter has suggested Highveld but I have read some poor reports. Wondering how satisfied you were with your mounts from them? Thanks in advance.
Finally back to somewhat normal I missed reading the messages and posts

Hi PaulB,
I have a Ballard Arms Model 1885 chambered for .333 Jeffery Flanged. Do you have any idea where I can get ammo for this?

I am new to this forum so I am sorry if I am doing something wrong!
Thank You!
