We bought some land

How do you keep the hogs away from any crop you plant?
By planting it far enough North;)

But how about all simple 2 or 3 wire electric fence? Solar/battery powered fencer if you don't have electricity available.

I've seen videos of Tenerife used on hogs, and it seemed very effective. Not sure of the legalities, but it worked. :ROFLMAO:

How about one of the armed drones that carries a 40mm grenade launcher with a payload of 60 rounds.
They were rolled out at the Shot Show recently.
I may invite a few forum members over for an inaugural "Saint Valentine's Day" shoot and hog BBQ. ;)

Coyotes

We got it all at my place.

I'm considering a quad 50 cal.
We have not put down corn in over a month but we have visitors day and night to the previous corn spot. Animals are more prolific this year with much more hog damage. First time seeing coyotes on our trail camera in 3 years we have owned the property.

We have a fridge. No more coolers as a fridge. :ROFLMAO:

Finally, some manly touches to mobile home. Now I need some dead animals on the walls. The sign was given to us by my daughter.

The next project is the man-cave/smoking room, and Mrs. PARA45 is itching to get started, but not until we finish with the living quarters.

I've been looking (Goodwill, and Habitat for Humanities) for some leather furniture to go in the room. Hopefully, I'll get lucky and find what I'm looking for. If what she has planned for this room is close to what she did with the living quarters, I'm sure it will turn out amazing.

I was told you need to kill 70% of the hogs in the area per year just to keep the numbers stable.

We finally got Electricity in the trailer. Working through the hoops to get permits and the power company was a fiasco, but we got it done. :ROFLMAO:

No joke. We killed about 1000 in bend of the river ( about 15k acres between all landowners) a few years ago result was no less sightings and remaining hogs gained about 40 lbs on average :ROFLMAO: . At least the suckers tasted better after

I hope you guys are not getting bored of this thread. Yesterday, was the most memorable day since we bought the property. Some wonderful memories were made yesterday.

We finally got Old Glory flying at the farm and couldn't have asked for a better picture with some beautiful blue skies. I also have an Air Force flag I'm going to fly but forgot it at home.

The second part of this day was my granddaughter fishing and catching the first fish from the pond. She ended up catching 3 Blue Gills, which we returned to the pond, and grandpa did a little education on conservation. :) Grandpa was very proud that day, and my dream of making some wonderful memories with my granddaughter has begun. Hopefully one day she'll be standing next to her first deer.

I know some Hillbillies that would keep those Bluegill and fry them up hard, then eat e'm whole, tail and all.
If you don’t do this you are not living. There are no hills here please advise on my category

You might have edited your post on the PH in the Bubye. I know the PH and is a wonderful person and a fmaily man and runs a succesful business in Zim and just doesn't want the attention that the internet offers, the ugly kind.

Hello,

Am I reading your post correctly to say that the Tsavo rifle will be coming out with a composite stock later this year? I ask because I had been looking very hard for a Tsavo, but if there is going to be a composite stock model I will wait for that.

Thank you for your time,

Andrew

Saw your post. Nice. Denver too. Genesee area (just off 70) if ever up this way. Alternatively, do you have a membership at GGC? Whatever, you'll have a wonderful time in Africa. Enjoy.
