WANTED: Hunt Wanted

So I know this is a long shot but I thought I would give it a try anyway. We sold our house and are staying with family until the new house is ready (I know, shoot me now!) and the work schedule cleared out. So I was talking to my wife last night finishing up Christmas plans for the kids and we decided to forgo presents for each other. I told her she could buy me a plane ticket to South Africa. She said sure, why not. So here I am, looking for a hunt next week.

I know it's short notice but I can travel pretty much anywhere. Do any outfitters have something that has to go by the end of the year? I have hunted SA 5 times and have a decent plains game selection. But I am pretty much open to hunt anything (well, Rhino and Elephant are probably out because of the budget). Again, I know it's a long shot but a guy can dream.......

Welcome to the forum Akeate.
Paw Print and lbgsafaris are relatively close to JHB for a last minute hunt and have extensive experience on dangerous game. They are regulars here on the forum, and I will vouch for them personally.

Wow! one lucky man with a good woman !!
Why not hunt Australia with 6 Deer species in the South and head up to NT for Buffalo , Boar , Scrub Bull and some fishing .
It would certainly be a change of scenery .

Maybe my wife will read your post and get the same idea

(Or I had access to one for you with Leopard, Sitatunga,Eland,hippo and other plains game).
