Trophy Room Build after 45 years of hunting

This is going to be something really special! Congratulations

Gosh I hope not, that would ruin 42 years of party affiliation!
Your journal might be in a box, in Joe Biden’s garage, right next to his old Corvette.

+1 to what said in regards to hunting. :ROFLMAO:

John Ed,

This is awesome! Well done! Your recent addition is larger than my primary residence! I need to look at your price list and see if there is a budget pack rat or snake hunt just to see the place! :)
I bet we can make something work!

Epic! Just Epic!!! So excited for you and to see it when it’s finished in all its glory! Just one question? Can I come over to see it in person when it’s finished?
Absolutely, I want to share it with as many folks as I can.

Update - I got back to the ranch yesterday and progress is steadily being made. The roofers have started installing the tile and the finish coat of stucco going on the walls.

The taxidermy team has made huge progress on the mountain. I had only visualized it in my mind before but I was amazed when I saw it in person. Still a long way to go, but we’re getting there.

That is really looking good. Gonna be a fantastic display when it's done. I have a somewhat small room for my trophies. Fast running out of room and I still want to hunt. Sooo I may be doing some in the future where I just bring pictures home. Have to see how it works out.
I'm really happy for you and what you're working on. Congrats
Bruce

Thanks Bruce, I hope you've cleared out some space for a lifesize mount of that MONSTER Forest Sitatunga! It would be a shame to only display a photo of that grand old bull.

Love how it’s looking! I’ve always wondered if the mountain displays have a path that can be walked on for cleaning, maintenance or closer viewing?

If you look carefully in the corner against the wall, they build a series of steps to get up the mountain but they are well camouflaged. Also, the foam rock panels are very strong and will support a considerable amount of weight.

Oy, that's a big klippie! Love it.

Just a shoulder mount. All that would fit. Still waiting for him to ship from the Congo.......

Very impressive and it is interesting to watch how the construction is progressing.

Looks great. The perspective is amazing in a photograph. Can't image how nice it looks in person.

Hi PaulB,
I have a Ballard Arms Model 1885 chambered for .333 Jeffery Flanged. Do you have any idea where I can get ammo for this?

I am new to this forum so I am sorry if I am doing something wrong!
Thank You!
