This isn't a political forum. I recognize that. But politics influence hunting and travel. This is a common time for African Hunt Operators to be in the USA for trade shows and exhibitions. Please take care this week. If the impeachment trial does not end in favor of democrats, I fear rioting and violence. My wife and I were trapped in Portland, Oregon after the Presidential election in 2016. Antifa Nazis and democratic sympathizers rioted in the street in front of our hotel, burning shops, breaking windows, overturning cars, and assaulting anyone that didn't look like them (under 30). We were unable to leave. Unable to get to the airport. Be cautious if your plans involve travel Wed or Thurs................................FWB

Ant Democrat that was thinking there would be 67 votes to convict must be delusional. The whole thing was to influence the election. So, while there will be protests (as in every week) I doubt there will be enough to impact much of anything.

2016 was unexpected (even by Trump most likely :D).

Some may use it as an excuse to raise Cain, but I doubt anything serious comes of it, except maybe from the usual suspects as mentioned. Truth is most are not really paying much attention to the whole fiasco. Where you may see more serious uprisings is if the old Commie Pinko Bernie Sanders does not get the Demtard nomination this time as many thought he would last time, but they rigged the process so HRC would get it, and it appears there is some effort to repeat that to keep him out again.

Please accept my personal apologies for my city of birth. It used to be a nice, small sized city with decent values and a generally nice place to be if you can withstand 6 months of grey and drizzle. Somewhere, around 20 years ago I would reckon, it started to the left and then the momentum went to acceptance of radical left.

The state politics (controlled by the I-5 corridor, a giant blue swath) has me wanting lately to leave.

Just the way of the city these days in our country, all of them really. From instilling political values when they should be educating, to flouride in the water and a million things in between, just the way it goes.

The media will have you believe theres little hope, and that actually may be true as it seems, but theres some circles where you can easily see good folks still exist and the world is still spinning. Hunting seems to be one, despite the internal turmoil that you can find if you look for it, even here. Hard thing to do sometimes but it's mostly about what you choose to look for ;)

Trump expands travel ban to Tanzania

Good luck getting you Elephant out now???

Tanzania, the restrictions are being placed on diversity visas -- that come from the controversial diversity lottery program that grants visas to prospective immigrants randomly each year.

If you can't get people out there's not much greater diversity than elephants

Not sure one will affect the other. I wouldn't make that jump without further information.

I left Seattle over 30 years ago for much the same reasons and its only gotten a whole lot worse since then. Still in WA but an hour north right on the water, small town living. Hard to beat overall. State politics really suck though.

Ok so by linking dead Elephants being denied diversity visas under Trumps travel ban I was illustrating the absurd

It read more like a criticism of the ban itself. I for one am all for Trumps travel bans. They are legal and constitutional. Like the guy or hate him, his motives are protection of the USA.

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
