Just want to mention how great this company is. Absolute pleasure to deal with. 1 quick phone call to Trader Keith’s to place an order, very friendly, and in 2 days from ordering I had this rifle strap and a cartridge slide in my mailbox. Haven’t used it in the field yet, but already I can tell you’re not going to find much better quality, especially for the money. These days it is rare that you feel you’ve gotten a real quality product for what you’re paying, and I appreciate what they’re doing.

I met Keith for the second time at SCI this year. Absolutely wonderful gentleman and I wish him all the best with his health concerns. I'm still considering one of his slings for my rifle, but have yet to pull the trigger.

The rubber webbing seems to be very effective at keeping it on your shoulder

Trader Keith and his wife are great. I’ve dealt with them in person at the SCI and over the phone. Like talking to an old friend

Love this sling, own three of them. Definitely a fan!

I’ve worn 2 of Trader Keith’s slings out and picked another up in Nashville this Spring…

The best

I also enjoy my canvas slings from Trader Keith. I just tried to get on their website and received a warning that the site is impersonating Trader Keith’s. Anyone else receiving this message?

I’ve lost count of how manny of his slings I’ve bought. I tend to leave them with folks as gifts. Absolutely the best sling I have ever used. His slings swivels are
Also as good as it gets.

I wasn’t able to get the swivels unfortunately. He explained that there were some issues sourcing them from Germany, but was hopeful that they would be back in stock soon.

I spoke with him about this at SCI this year and he mentioned that they have had some problems with the website for the past couple of years and are trying to get it straightened out.

@Atticus - Can you post a picture of the cartridge slide please? I picked up an Els &Co open top 10-cartridge slide, but might be looking for another.

I like his slings, but the Dick Murray slings I have are awesome and don't make any noise.

Thanks @Atticus. I forgot he was making them out of canvas, thought they were leather. Have you practiced with it yet? What do you think? Better than a leather one?

Nice Report! Im about to pull the trigger on booking the LDE with Patrick. I have been talking about it with him for about 3 yrs now. Romain hit me up the other day with an offer I can't refuse for 2027.

Andrew, I commented that your on 375 H&H for sale was the fair price.

Like I commented, my classic stainless has the original 24” barrel.

Did you buy yours with the barrel already cut down to 21” or did you do it (or a gunsmith)?
