SWEDEN: Hunting Roe Deer & Fallow Deer With My Kids

Just wanted to share 2 hunts I had with my kids in Sweden this year.
My kids are a 7 year old boy, Hans and a 4 year old girl, Sofie.

On the first hunt I went with my boy only while my daughter stayed with my sister.
We hunted Roe bucks for a few days and we didn't do to bad

On the second hunt I took both kids with me to hunt Fallow deer and it was a challenge to manage to keep them both still and quit enough, but at least we managed to get a young buck

It is great to take the kids out hunting and they both talk about that they want to shoot some deer themselves soon

Filled the freezer and done it with the kids in tow ,hard task to do
The little tackers look to have enjoyed the experience
And would have been handy to help with packing out the meat

They obviously did well, but I'd switch to birds.

All the 3 Roe bucks were taken while stalking and the Fallow was taken from a stand.

I plan to take both kids for some more Roe deer hunting in October.
It will be a challenge and most likely we will not shoot much, but that doesn't matter much as long as we can spend some time together hunting
