We discussed Internet speeds a while back. So, started tweaking a few things, basically updating firmware and drivers. Got WiFi 7 to work consistently.

Here is a result from my desktop connected to Internet via Wifi. As a result just upgraded my laptop to one with a WiFi 7 card as well. Now, I can sit by the pool and work/browse the Internet at a decent clip once the laptop arrives in a couple of days.

I'd recommend.

LOL....sure thing Bart. Angela Merkel is the mother of German decline. She created deep economic ties with Russia, and was one of those that lobbied hard for the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, as well as blocking the Ukraine and Georgia from entering the NATO alliance. She's a Putin Puppet.
Not to mention her immigration/Refugee failures which ignited the rotting from within the country.

Perpetual victim virus? Isn't that the MAGA mantra? Arn't they setting up a 1.8 billion dollar MAGA victims fund right now?

Now I know a complex world can be hard to understand for people who believe bombs and tariffs are the only foreign policy tools, but many people believed, and still believe that closer economic ties with rogue states produce better human rights results than sanctions or isolation. The belief was that one way to export western ideas into Russia was to do a lot of business with them. Plenty of American businessmen and government officials believed in this approach as well. While Merkel did not entirely adopt this approach it was part of her government's strategy. Both Clinton and young Bush adopted this strategy at various times. For Merkel it was a necessity, as Germany retreated from nuclear power (a mistake to my mind but not her initiative) she needed to get fuel from somewhere.

In the long term that I can't complain about that as Germany is currently signing a massive LNG deal with Canada.

One only has to look at say, the United States' relationship with that bastion of democracy and liberty, Saudi Arabia to see that big industrial countries need relationships with energy suppliers.

But if you really did follow or understand her career (other than a few youtube clips) you would know her relationship with Putin was adversarial and at times downright nasty. But that might require an education. On the other hand Putin really seems to have Trump in his pocket. But then again Trump wilts in the face of any significant adversary. His trip to China was one giant nothing-burger.

Of course Merkel actually got the Minsk Accords done, while Trump's promise to end the Ukraine war within 24 hours, and then retreating to 100 days...remain unfulfilled.

Come on guys. Let’s not associate all Canadians with their politicians and policies.

Yesterday we had the Royal Canadian Dominion Chair at our local American Legion parades. We hit 4 cemeteries and 2 parades. He has been addressing crowds at our ceremonies for years. They also come over from Ontario with “Pipes and Drums” band.

Our members and theirs have become very good friends over the years. We fly the Canadian flag next to ours (slightly lower of course) and all the military branch flags.
