Now Cuba, now Afghanistan, there is no good news for the dems. The open border will inevitably yield a disterous happening one of these days and they will wear that too. Add to that the huge backlash from trying to ram through their extreme wish list items like CRT and they may well have sealed their fate for a long time. It is like they fired a full broadside, everything they had. It has fallen short and now they have no ammo left. Republicans just need to keep talking sense.

Oldie but goodie:

The Haircut:

One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut. After the cut, he asked about his bill, and the barber replied, 'I cannot accept money from you; I'm doing community service this week.
The florist was pleased and left the shop.
When the barber went to open his shop the next morning, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door.

Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you; I'm doing community service this week.' The cop was happy and left the shop.
The next morning when the barber went to open up, there were a 'thank you' card and a dozen donuts waiting for him at his door.

Then a Congressman came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you; I'm doing community service this week.' The Congressman was very happy and left the shop.
The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen Congressmen lined up waiting for a free haircut.

And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the citizens of our country and the politicians who run it.

As Ronald Reagan said: "BOTH POLITICIANS AND DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON!"

Pelosi is not short of a dollar. I'd like to see her husband's tax returns from insider trading. Why she's almost as rich as the Xiden crime family!

Pelosi’s husband dumped his stocks right before the 2008 housing collapse and subsequent Great Recession. He did it again right before the Covid pandemic and shut down of the economy happened. He’s either a financial genius or was given insider information by crooked Nancy. I’m betting on the latter. Either way, no investigation happened and no consequences for either of them. Martha Stewart went to prison for insider trading. I guess she didn’t have the right friends in Congress?
