Wearing a Jerusalem Cross does not make one a Crusader.. as already stated prior TENS OF THOUSANDS of former US military personnel wear a Crusaders Cross (I by the way am also one of them).. TENS OF THOUSANDS of non military personnel also wear them for religious reasons..

Hegseth has not declared himself a Crusader in any way that depicts a knight embarking on a crusade against a foreign enemy...

What Hegseth has done is write in his book titled AMERICAN CRUSADE (that you very clearly have never bothered to read.. and yet you seem to think you know something about the man...).. that he believes the current political situation in the US is similar to the 11th Century Crusades, where modern Christians should focus their fight against DOMESTIC ENEMIES...

If you think he "talks like a Crusader" youre either a fool, or have done exactly zero research on the Crusades and Crusaders..

Let’s put this in a more personal scenario. The following does NOT follow Canada or USA law; it is just a suppose this happened… I have nothing against you.

Someone for whatever reason continually threatens to kill you and your family. You notify the police who repeatedly inform you they cannot do anything until the future murderer makes a physical assault. Luckily that person, as crazy as they are, is too weak physically to bother you or your family.

Then, one-day murder incorporated obtains a handgun and rumor is he is practicing with it using photos of you and your family as targets. You find shot up photos in your mailbox. The police still cannot do anything because there are no witnesses. Your gut tells you that Rambo is getting out of control and your family may be the next target.

What if you paid a visit to this douche bag and disarmed him with a certain amount of violence? Enough violence to scare him away. There were no witnesses so the police could still take no action against anyone. Would that be better than a dead child or wife?

We just need better marketing.

My post above may seem humorous but there is a factual basis for it. To run for President one needs solid skills, charismatic personality, looks, speaking voice and no skeletons in their closet. Where is our @Red Leg ?

The closet thing to the above that was willing to open their and their family’s past, present, and future was Trump. He may a big asshole but he’s got the balls needed to get the job done. I didn’t hire a nice guy like Carter. I wanted a political knife fighter. Trump

You make an excellent point. I was twice asked to run for parliament by the PC party, but turned it down, largely for financial reasons. It is hard to get quality people to take on those offices, I too wonder where our futures great leaders will come from and I don't see any clear answers.

Many of the people I think have good character don't make the cut. I thought Huntsman was a great candidate but he never got traction. Quite liked Romney as well as McCain. No luck.

Not everyone has REAL ID or fly. I have employees that don’t and have not flown for decades.

Heck, here in CA one needs to provide proof of citizenship and two separate proofs of residency like utility bills for REAL ID not everyone has that either. Especially, if one is renting a room with utilities in one of the roommates’ name. A lot of hoops to jump through.

Requirements for REAL ID are not all that different from the requirements for employment in the United States that have been in place since at least 1986. Hell, we had steak and lobster waay back in the 60s when I served. Thanksgiving and Christmas were special occasions just like home and we ate the same. Even field kitchens had some goodies for us.
