on a lighter note...

Properly prepared, they are actually pretty good. Ex introduced me to a lot of "interesting" food, lol. She was a helluva cook and squeezed Lincoln pretty hard. Back in the day, that prevented my belly from meeting my backbone. In those days, chicken feet were only a dime. Pig ears were even less, lol. (yes, those are a real food)
Now the pig ears I’ve had, purposely even. The chicken feet, not so much. I honestly didn’t even know that was a thing. Thankfully. ;)

I was at a business dinner at Quanjeude, a very famous Peking duck restaurant in Beijing. The roast duck was amazing, but it came with platters of duck bills and duck feet. Not really my thing, but better than fish eye soup!

When I’m out with my Vietnamese friends we would have roasted and salted duck tongue. They told me they had a simple rule: if it runs from you it’s food!

Ok I can understand the feet thing…a little flesh on the bone but what is edible on duck bills?

They ate the entire duck bill. Like we would eat chips.

There is usually a pretty good story that goes along with a mount like that one, at least I hope there was

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
