Old Gringo 1938

Hello, returned from South Africa on 31 March 2017. Had great hunt. Animals getting scored there. I believe the best one was a Blue Wildebeest with 31 inch spread. I plan to go again, possibly for Cape Buffalo, Kudu and/or Leopard but not on same trip. Used a camp Weatherby in .270 Win caliber with 150 grain Sierra Game King bullets. Worked great. I use my own .270 Win for Elk. Bullet placement is of utmost importance. PH, tracker, owner and staff were great. Not very proficient with computer communication tool.

270 is my favorite too! I heartily agree about bullet placement rather than magnums etc.
animals aren't made of steel and the sierra bullets are great.
