New to the group from TX

Hello all! I have read many threads on AH, but have just become a member today. I grew up reading all of the great writers of Africa. I greatly enjoy them all, but Jim Corbett’s India adventures may be my favorite! I am a handloader & love classic wood-stocked rifles in interesting calibers. As far as DG rifles go, I currently own (2) 375’s, a 416 RIGBY, & a 458 Lott. No double yet, but dreaming about one & my trip to Africa daily. Have a trip booked for Aug ‘24 in Niassa Land, MOZ w/ Jaco at Kwalata. The days are passing slowly to say the least. Looking forward to digging deeper into AH, thank you for the acceptance.

Cash_Tx I am from the Victoria-area. I’ve hunted elk in Colorado twice, but have not hunted out of the country yet. We have a place in West Tx we hunt mule deer yearly. Aside from that it’s all the usual Tx fauna.

AimSmall We will be hunting buff & plains game. Eland & Kudu being the priority for pg.
