Hey everybody my name is Bridger

So just some background I live in the western United States. I love hunting and most of my hunting experience has been with mule deer, elk, pronghorn, ducks, and mountain lions. I am currently preparing for a hunt in South Africa in September. So it looks like there is a lot of experienced hunters on this forum so any tips or advice would be great. I am super excited to hunt in Africa and excited to be part of this forum.

I am actually a Utah boy. I will be hunting with subscription hunts Africa.

Well I've surrounded ya. Lived in Idaho to the north and now to Arizona to the soutch.

Welcome to AH! There's a lot to be learned looking through old threads and just ask any questions that come up as you prepare for the trip. My experience has been if you ask a question here you'll soon get several good answers. A few tips: treat all your stuff with permethrin for the ticks (you're going to see a few), shoot off Africa style sticks as you practice, take LOTS of pictures, plan on a few extra animals after you get there and become awe struck and finally - you may as well start planning safari #2 while you're at it because you'll go back.
