Hello,
To start off with I am a hunter and a fisherman. I enjoy both, but must say I like hunting a bit more. I have been to Africa, but never on a hunt. It has always been a dream to hunt there. If all things go as planned I hope to get there for Plains Game some time next season. I came across this website while surfing on the web and there seems to be a lot of good information here about African Safaris.

Thanks everyone for welcoming me to the forum. I am looking to go for Plains Game and primarily focusing on RSA. I live south of I-10, deep in Cajun country.....in the swamps so to speak. I used to work on cargo ships and have lived/sailed through all continents other than Australia and Antarctica. I spent some time in West Africa. Nigeria, Angola, etc. Also been to Morocco through Gibraltar. Again, these were not hunting trips. It was all related to work/travel.

I have a brother in Law there who is USCG. Never been there but lived in franklin Parish for a couple of years.
