There are a couple more videos thst I got apart from that one.....woman in red tshirt got pushed under the water by the ele...luckily for her it must have lost her in the water...and also short tusks saved her....was a calf with them so dumb of the guides to be getting anywhere near.....but photo ones try to get close so get bigger tips from the clients.....so shit happens
Incredibly lucky and stunningly foolish to float into cow & calf like that. I was waiting for the cow to reach out with her trunk...they used up ALL of their luck on that one.
Wow! The power of that elephant is absolutely impressive.
Pretty lucky no one got killed there.
That is like people who get too close to bison in Yellowstone park.
Here is the complete video with all three parts spliced. This attack took place just a couple of days ago on September 27 and amazingly no one was seriously injured. The elderly overweight woman in the brown T-shirt is extremely lucky to be alive. When the Okavango was turned into an adventure tourist destination, I wonder how specific the liability releases read.
"Are you ok? ................" I did not see any of the guides attempt to do anything but run once the makoros were flipped.
The two couples - both husband and wife and said to be British - were being poled 'gondala style' through the shallow waters of the Okavango Delta, Botswana.
