Hunting bug got me, hello from PA!

Hello everyone! This site was recommended to me and I’ve been lurking and reading for a bit. Finally decided to say hello! I got my first whitetail deer last year and since then I’ve had the itch. Then, I had the opportunity to take a hog with my best friend for my birthday this year.
I’ve “bird dogged” a couple guided hunts with friends, I’ve found it’s enjoyable as just an observer too!

To me, it’s about grounding myself and being closer to the process of nature. Building my bond to Earth and my hunting buddies. Looking forward to the conversation and education from this forum! Nice to meet you all!

It may not be too late, you might be able to save yourself. The rest of us are in too deep, but you should know, this is likely your last chance! I joined here about 16 years ago to get information on my "once in a lifetime" and "only" African safari.

Then from the shadows someone whispered "no one goes to Africa just once." But I was going to be different - only going once. That was 22 African safari's ago. ACE (in CT) has it about right - whatever you did before, its different now.
