Hunter from Miami

Hello, welcome

No, I believe you are referring to Wayne Van Den Bergh. Is not him
I know Wayne when I see his picture, there was a black guy on Book Your Hunt that was offering elephant hunts that resembles the guy on the right side of that photo. Thought maybe that was him. Thanks!

Welcome to AH and congratulations on such wonderful animals. My husband hopes to hunt elephant in the future but we are still trying to figure everything out. Great to have you hear. Happy adventures. Sue Tidwell

Greetings Masai,

Khomas Highland Hunting Safaris of Namibia, welcomes you to the greatest forum on earth.

I agree with Kevin Peacocke that, it is generally the majority of us, who will likely be learning from you and not the other way around.

Your choice of rifle is great.
Some folks have moaned about the CZ 550 rifles, mostly regarding their roughness and failures to feed from the magazine.
I have owned several of them, in as many different calibers, from 6.5x55 through .500 Jeffery.

All worked perfectly, first shot and every shot, except for the .500 caliber.
It would not feed from the magazine (moan moan).
So, I had a Proper Gunsmith (Andy Hawk, in Anchorage, Alaska) re-shape the follower, with his milling machine and carefully hand file the rails, ever so slightly.
Now it feeds perfectly.

Anyway, Cheers for now,
Velo Dog.

Welcome to AH ! Would love to hear some more about your adventures!

Jake, Sorry to bug you again. I was wondering if you could share a. couple actual pics of this crossbow with me?

Xpedition Archery USED Scrapeline390X Sniper Gray Crossbow XACW1001 - Light Wear - Needs Bolt/Arrow Guide Spring UA5689

If it is in a decent shape, would you be willing to sell it for $100 shipped? IS it missing the retention spring that goes over the bolt?
Thank you Ferenc

Good morning John, I just read your setup procedure for the northstar duplicator ator. I found it very hand and I did learn some things. I have the same machine and I am having a problem i can not figure out and was hoping you could shed some light on the subject.
