Hello

Royal,

Thanks a bunch! Is there a "best" country and region to go for Kudu? preferably greater Kudu. Also, do any of the African states ban suppressors?

I'll get started on compiling that list!

Welcome!

I just got back a few weeks ago from the eastern cape of South Africa and saw lots and lots of kudu. Both my daughter and I took kudu, as well as several other PG. The eastern cape kudu are greater kudu. I hunted with Game4Africa and used their rifles that had suppressors. This was my first experience with suppressors and I really liked them, except for the looks and weight. For your first hunt, you can't go wrong with South Africa or Namibia.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
