Have a hunt planned for 2015. Will def use this site to learn all I can. Taxidermy is a big question. Use local SA or ship back to Houston? Cost, QUALITY???

I'm an Aggie, so Gig Em!
Welcome though!!! :)

Read around a Jerome suggests. I do know that there are some pretty good taxis arouns Houston, so if you decide to go local you're in a good spot.

Welcome to ah sure you will enjoying here........

Thanks Brother!
Hook 'Em, and here's hoping "Thanksgiving" returns to normal!!!

Amen to that!!! Thanksgiving just isn't the same without the game....

My cousin uses a taxi around Humble I think. I can get you the name of you want it. I think Conroe Taxidermy is supposed to be good too, but pricey as I recall. Worth checking out though.

Have had a couple of my old clients use Conroe, they were pretty happy.... Royal those Humble locals refer to it as Umble!!!

Funniest thing a silent H... Useless I know I am just always intrigued by it! ;)

My best always

That is correct sir. It is pronounced Humble

That's correct Jacob. The H is il silent, although more and more folks now pronounce it with the H... :( Another useless fact is that is where Humble Oil started. They changed their name though. You might have heard of the new company, Exxon. :)

Interesting..... Mmmmmmm........:)
:) ;) :) ;) :)

Welcome to AH.
Plenty of threads to go through for sure on this.

If you do choose to get it done in Africa be sure to check them out very thoroughly, same as in NA I guess but for whatever reason many do not over there.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
