Long-time lurker here. Glad to finally sign-up with AH!

I've only hunted once in Africa (impala in Botswana) but it looks like I'll be going to Zimbabwe every June for medical mission trips. We just got back from our first trip to Zim but we weren't able to hunt this time (poor planning on my part). My goal is to tag on a short 3-4 day hunt at the end of each trip in the future. I think we will be using Rosslyn Safari, which I understand to be first-class.

I have lots to learn, so I appreciate all of the wisdom you fellas contribute to the forums.

Cheers!

Hello and welcome!

Hope you can hunt Zim next time!

JerBear8, that sounds like a good at to write off the cost of the airfare at least. A hunt in Zim would be a great way to top off a Medical Missionary trip.

Welcome to AH JerBear8! Glad to have you on the posting side.

Welcome JerBear. Hope you have many great hunts in the future!

Every year! Awesome!!! My jealous light is flickering out of control!
Great that you can work it in with your medical mission calling.

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ
