Hi folks, new member here from New England. Life long hunter, mostly deer around home, but have been making it out to western US for elk as much as possible, mostly DIY. I found this forum as I just booked a trip with Molopo Kalahari Safaris with Rudolph Graupner for August 2023. I've never considered Africa in the past, in fact, I was offered a free trip from a (very successful) friend a few years ago (just had to pay airfare) but turned it down. My son loves to travel and he has been interested in Africa for years. Every other year we head to Pennsylvania for the Great American hunting and fishing show. This year we met Rudolph. We both liked him, he seemed legit, his references checked out (of course), so I put down a deposit the next day.

We will be doing plains game, 5 animals split between us. Honestly, I don't even remember what they all are, but I'm getting a chance at a kudo and gemsbok. My son a gemsbok and two antelope of some type. I'm actually much more excited than I thought I'd be and have been searching these forums top to bottom. I'm thinking I'd like to save up for a zebra as well.

Thanks for you time, and most importantly your wisdom and experience.

Erik

Hello! I saw your post from last year about a missing crate from your hunt in Moz. I am curious how that all turned out? We (my fiancé and I) also hunted in Moz in 2024 and the trophies are being shipped with Hunters Services Limitada. We have some concerns on whether we will get the trophies home or not. May I ask who you hunted with?
