Next pic could be Serapa, the old lodge, as I can spot the airstrip nearby.

I know several AHers have hunted Greatland Safari with John Henry Keyser out of Thabazimi - right at foot of the Waterberg Mnts

I used my IPhone as a camera for trophy shots while in Limpopo. As I was looking at pictures when I got home, my wife showed me how to see the geocode location of where each picture was taken. It was spot on to each place I snapped a pic on a Google Earth map.
Kind of spooked the hell out of me!

Geo-location on most phones is excellent. You can turn it off!

One reason why you need to be a little cautious when you take pictures of Rhino or some Elephants in Parks.

It’s funny that one of the first things I did when I decided to take my first trip ever was to find it on Google Earth. I guess I’m not alone.

Street view is priceless.

Juan, do you have some coordinates for both places??

Would it be possible to plot these on a map - set up on this site - for AH member's reference?

This idea could be rolled out to show the known camps in various other countries: Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Mozambique etc etc.

This is as close an effort as I can make.

Pity. Would be neat if we could have an interactive map - using extraced data from Google earth - upon which GPS way points marked each camp. Failing that, probably an alphabetical listing.
(Sorry! Before becoming a psych nurse I was a Cartographer for 14yrs - buggering about with the forerunner of what's now known as GIS.)

Hi,

Thanks

Is this rifle sold? If not what is the weight of it and do you know if there is enough difference in diameter between the 35W and the 9.3 to allow for a rebore to a 9.3x62 which is what I am after?
Thanks,
Gary (Just down the road in Springfield)

Forgive me if this is the incorrect area, I signed up to this forum just now because I wanted to be on the list to purchase a copy of your autobiography. Please feel free to pass my information along to whomever is selling. Thank you so much. I look forward to it!
I like the Tillie in my picture. They are supposed to fit loose (2 fingers inside hat band), have mesh for cooling, and hold their shape after washing.
