@Environ and @jasyblood I have heard some great things about fishing the private lakes in Thailand, and when one looks at the pricing, the biggest cost seems to be getting there.
Thailand is a great place to fish and very inexpensive. I was there for 10 days and had about $2800 in the entire trip, including meals/drinks(lots), accommodations and airfare from DFW! That included 3 days of wild snakehead fishing at some pretty remote jungle lakes, 5 days of private lake fishing and 2 FULL days of touring. It was an exhausting trip but we had a blast....and we didn't even scratch the surface on the number of species of fish they have there.

Here's a few pics of the jungle lakes we fished. It has got to be some of the most beautiful country I've ever fished in. If you decide you'd like to go, let me know and I can give you some recommendations.

Hellava rooster you got there.
Btw...... My name is Erik and I also have a hellava fishing addiction. Inshore, offshore, or fresh water I love it all. Fished all over the US, Mexico, and the Brazillian Amazon. I owe y'all a Mexican fishin report as I just got back from El Salto a month ago.

I fully intend on putting one up. I'm just busy as a one legged man in an ass kickin contest at the moment. I'm still only half way through the Romanian report. ;)

Hello! I saw your post from last year about a missing crate from your hunt in Moz. I am curious how that all turned out? We (my fiancé and I) also hunted in Moz in 2024 and the trophies are being shipped with Hunters Services Limitada. We have some concerns on whether we will get the trophies home or not. May I ask who you hunted with?
