To all our clients following us on this post.

We've had a bumper season this year. This was especially welcome since last year (2020) we could only hunt with the local South African meat (biltong) hunters because of all the lockdown regulations.
This year 2021 with regulations easing up and more and more people getting vaccinated international travel picked up a lot.
All our clients that was supposed to come in 2020 postponed their safaris to 2021 in addition to the safaris that we already had booked for 2021.
So we have been extremely busy this year and are in fact still hunting now.
Our last safari will finish on December 10, 2021 with a Spanish gentleman.

Then a short vacation and by December 27 we will be heading over to America for the Dallas Safari Club Convention in Texas and 2 weeks later the SCI Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Looking forward to next year we foresee some problems especially with our government's decision to shut down all lion hunting in South Africa.
That is definitely our biggest immediate threat and nobody really know when the government will do it.
My personal view is that it will take at least a year for them to get their ducks in a row.
There has to be public participation with all role players involved before the government can just change a law. This process might take up to a year or more.
The bottom line is though that if you still want to hunt a lion you better do it quickly as time is definitely running out.

That being said we have had a huge increase in demand and requests for lion hunts for 2021 as well as 2022. With our own amount of lions we have dwindling and other breeders getting rid of the lions because they do not want to be caught with a lot of lions in stock when the government shuts down the lion industry we are experiencing a shortage in the supply side. Together with the increase in demand (because everybody wants to hunt a lion before it is closed forever) the prices will certainly increase in 2022.

We will try and keep our prices the same as this year (unless something drastic happens) but certain free perks like the free pick up and drop off in Johannesburg will fall away. Our dates for 2022 are filling up rapidly so if some of you guys still want to book do not wait at all.

To our existing clients who already hunted with us : Thank you for a wonderful year we've had with you. We have made wonderful memories with you guys.
Till next time.

Have a wonderful and blessed Christmas and festive season with your families and may next year be everything you've always wanted it to be.

Sincerely
Hans de Klerk

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!

Hi Rem280, Saw your post on getting selected for Idaho Elk. Do you have a zone(s) selected? I live in N Idaho, might be able to offer some ideas.

Cheers,

Craig
