Double round holder

If you want to go Buffalo hunting, the rule is you must buy a culling belt first. That tells your wife you are serious!! Nobody spends $250 on a culling belt unless they are serious about DG hunting!

Then you buy brass and bullets.

Then you load the ammo.

Then you decide on an outfit to hunt with.

Then you get the stalking boots (the Courteney boots arrived at the office today...wearing them to dinner).

Then you get the rifle.

Then you put down a deposit.

Then you put at least 300 rounds through said rifle.

etc, etc.

So yes, I am well on my way!

That is all together too much planning just to put a few rounds down range! I am truly dizzy!!!

Not a chance in the world I would even consider trying to hang with you for 5 minutes!

Came with my double o/u
Aluminum with two clips from an MAG belt riveted on
Simply drop them in and 'break them off'
Fun for the range but they fell out my pocket during a buffalo stalk involving a belly crawl. Probably just need to work on a better pocket or belt holder.

@norfolk shooter , a friend of mine adapted the plastic cartridge holder out off a factory Ammo box. It wasn't pretty but was functional.
This was for a double rifle shooting driven boar.
If you are look for a belt to carry ammo I suggest you look at "el molino del viento" on google. They are Spanish leather manufacturers. Or,if you are in Spain, El Cort Ingles stocks the range.

I will just waiting out on the brass so I can make up the clip sections. Mind you I have far too many projects on the go at the moment. Just wondered what are the black clips made of??

What ever belt, slide or device you decide to use it's important to practice. I will out empty brass in my gun or snap caps and make dummy rounds for my belt or just go outside and use live ammo. In case you are about to chastise me for using live ammo I live in rural Vermont my nearest neighbor is far away.
As mentioned in an earlier post I have been using Murray Leather belts and slides. I shoot left handed and load with my right hand. I wear the slide in front and remove the shells from from right to left, when I get close to my intended target I will loosen or lift the shells slightly to make them easier to pull. The following series of pictures will show how I load my rifle. By holding them the way I do you can control the rounds and keep them parallel as they drop into the rifles chamber .

Smart technique there. That's how I was thinking about drilling and getting quick it's like the CAS shotgun technique
