I just found out last night that Facebook and Instagram removed the Let Africa Live page. Animal rights groups are bragging they got them to remove it and called it fake ads.

Real shocker! Eye roll....

Sad but not surprised at anything these days, especially when it doesn't fit the left wing media's agenda

Well, trace it back. Most media is ultimately controlled by the Soros mob. When you check the ownership of lamescream media it's all family in one way or another.

How many here have quit FaceBook, Twitter, etc. and encouraged their family members to do so as well?

Frankly, there's not a lot of impact that we can have on tech giants and liberal politicians except making relationships uncomfortable with the people who support and vote for them.

Whining and moaning or making bold statements is just a waste of breath (or key strokes) in my view. It's time to personalize this by having the uncomfortable conversations with friends, relatives and neighbors. Also by not using services supplied by big tech.

And before you ask, yes, I am practicing what I preach. It's made people unhappy, but I've been able to apply a calm, rational approach by pointing out the long term social impact they are making and how they are the ones destroying our relationships.

My two cents.

I believe that every hunter and firearm shooter could quite all of these social media groups and it wouldn't even make a dent into their business.

I have never had a Twitter account, in my book it is full of self indulged individuals, including our President. I have always said that they should take his phone away from him and not give it back until he is out of office in another 4 years.

I do have a Facebook account to keep up with family and old friends. I may make a post on it once a month but I doubt it. These social media business are what you make out of them.

I have to agree with JimP.

Facebook is the basic means I have of keeping in contact with friends and outfitters in Africa, Veterans Administration, National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association, VFW, etc.

Not to be discouraging, But there are too many "all you others" out there that use socialist media for us few to put a dent in their businesses.

I have a Twitter account. Dont know how I got it, maybe through Google updates(?). I dont use it. I dont even know how to sign into it. When I try to check Twitter notifications I have trouble signing in. So I just blocked Twitter by: no permissions granted, to my phone or computer.

Can't really fault President Trump and Republicans for bypassing the Socialist MSM by using Twitter to insure what they say isn't "hatcheted", obscured, manipulated by the leftest media.

If everyone uses this rationale, we'd never make a dent in their income.

What about my second question: Are you confronting friends, relatives and neighbors on their support of liberals and the like? This is the really powerful action we can take.

Quit Facebook 3 months ago, don’t miss it one bit. If someone has the means, the smarts, and the drive, there is a huge opportunity to create a new platform for normal Americans

Still available on Youtube, but it only got 5000 views. I liked this one so much, I sent it out to my family and friends. It kindly gets the message across; its effective. What is there to dislike about it? Maybe the left sees it as dangerous because of that.

Have never been on Facebook.
Me neither. In fact, this is the only forum/media site (such as it is! Ha!) that I've been on. Don't do PayPal either. Don't fault those that do, but I don't want to play along because I don't have to. This censorship by these media groups that oppose opposite views is very troubling.

I learned a long time ago to keep my views to myself where it concerns certain things and a good way to loose a good friend and alienate relatives is to start telling them about their views

The power of Google and Facebook is very scary. Some psychologists say they can and have subliminally controlled voters. I have no doubt this is possible.

I personally find Facebook ( alongside Twitter , Instagram and all sorts of social media ) to be quite detrimental towards our society . It gives a voice and power to ignorant people in large numbers . Without Facebook , no one would give a second glance at these so called “ animal rights activists “ . Most of them are failures in real life . Usually these people in my humble experience , mostly compromise of :
- Sexually frustrated attention seeking teen agers and spoilt delinquents in their early 20s , who believe that they are “ warriors “ of some sort . By “ fighting for the voiceless “ .
- Portly middle aged men and women , who are invariably jobless and lonely . Being part of a “ movement “ makes them feel “ wanted “ .
- People whose only experience with wildlife , happens to come from “ Walt Disney “ and “ Animal Planet “ .
- People originating from cultures where animals are thought of a deities , and their lives are treated with more importance than those of humans ( namely Indians ) .

What Facebook did , is give power and a platform to these worthless insignificant people . Cowards suddenly became fearless by having the power to attack people from the safety of a keyboard and computer screen ( without needing to concern themselves with any potential repercussions ) . Uneducated people suddenly began looking like scholars , by writing huge piles of worthless garbage on Facebook . These so called “ internet celebrities “ attract thousands of ignorant fans , every time they post their massive piles of misleading information on Facebook . What these “ celebrities “ believe , their fans thoughtlessly believe .

I genuinely do not believe that Facebook will ever let any pro hunting or pro firearms pages to flourish . Simply because it does not fit in with the agendas of the kind of people who created Facebook , to begin with .

There are actually quite a few pro firearm groups on FB and I haven't seen any of the post on them removed or anyone complaining about post being removed.

"Let Africans Decide" is a powerful video and message. It is done in a way that will speak to reasonable people who are struggling with the issues. I am afraid many are not willing to listen to reasonable dialogue and are more concerned about the animals being hunted (method) than the actual animals or people. My first time to Africa was eye opening! "Let Africans Decide."

I am on a Facebook private African hunting group. Facebook will often censor post if they show any blood or wounds. Usually they censor a picture when someone reports it as offensive. If it were a public group, I would not participate. People I work with will go after hunters! I have educated many at my work about the role of hunters in conservation. This forum is really my Facebook substitute with a much more hunter friendly crowd. I don't post a lot on AH but I am passionate about preserving our rights.

If you have not seen the Netflix Docu-film “social Dilema” then you really ought to watch. Quite scary really. My 20 yr asked me to watch after he dropoed all his social media apps.

I already do not have enough time to read everything right here in AH that I’d like to read.
So, I have never even looked at Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc., etc.
And, I sure won’t ever join any of those screeching eunuch owned establishments.
