Dennis met my wife and I just east of St. Louis today to deliver my first batch of African mounts and take my elk cape and rack back with him to mount in the future.

As usual his work is absolutely unparalleled !!!

Thank You Dennis

Excellent, but this thread needs pics when you can post them!

That's a long way from the October 20th post.

Look forward to seeing the results.

I would love to post pictures but to be honest I fear that my picture taking abilities wouldn't do them justice.

Here is a picture of my loaded truck. I got some strange looks and several stares with one driver giving me a thumbs up.....no middle fingers were seen on our 3 hour drive home.

As I type this Dennis is still driving on his long trip home. He is a really cool guy.

Check for bugs under the chin when you're home!

Look forward to seeing them on the wall.

Merry Christmas! Now you can do some real decorating when you get them home!

Beautiful kudu and truck!

Congratulations. Looking forward to the pictures with them up on the wall.

Very cool..... When/where did you hunt?

These two will eventually go into my shop with 10 ceilings but my wife wanted them up and on full display in the house until we get some new ones next year

As I said.....my pictures do not translate the detail in the eyes, ears and nose.

Nobody gets these areas right.....Dennis does !!!

Very nice, the line of the animal are so clean and crisp. The colors are beautiful!

Very nice! I am hoping my things get to Dennis in January 2018!! Love the details and his attention to them!!

Looking good on the wall!

Cherish your memories...

Beautiful mounts! Congrats!

They look good. Bet you are going back through the stalk for each one and when you put your hands on them for the first time!

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
