H. Burgsmuller made somewhere between 1876-1883. I cast the chamber, but I haven't been able to find out exactly what the name of the cartridge is here or on the double rifle society Facebook group. It shoots best with a .446" diameter bullet, and I make the cases by cutting down 444 marlin brass by about a centimeter and load it with black powder to be safe.

Noah,
I might be interested in the 470 Woodleigh Softs if the price is right for the entire lot. Are you planning on going to the Tulsa Gunshow in November? If so, perhaps we could meet up.
