8 years later, +2 more kids, finally in a position to return for my second safari.
I could write out the list. It's long. But so many good PHs and outfits I've been in contact with over the last few months. I looked at probably 10-15 outfits and almost booked a non export bull ele hunt. Which will probably be my 3rd safari now
10-12 years ago, I wanted to hunt a buff and dryland hippo. And Gache Gache and charara and parts of the Zambezi valley were at the top of my list for that.
I was reading the newsletter CMS sends out, and at the very end, my eyes widened when I saw they would be hunting in Gache Gache. I had talked to Buzz back in 2018 about this same hunt and it's come full circle.
Hippo on land. Eland and bushbuck. Some tiger fishing. That's what I've hoped for in a 2nd safari, and may come to fruition.
I'm a happy man.
