Good Gun Deals This Week

The HS Precision Pro Series 2000 LA is built for shooters who demand long-range accuracy and rugged reliability. A smooth, controlled-round-feed long action, crisp trigger, and premium barrel make this rifle equally at home on the range or in the field. Finished with HS Precision's signature attention to detail, the Pro Series 2000 LA is a serious tool for serious hunters and precision shooters. This example is in great shape and shows little use. It comes with two magazines. .458 Lott

Controlled-round feed? As long as it is built for shooters demanding long range accuracy in their .458 Lott, CRF or not, it should be a winner! :-).

DANG!!! Why did you go and do that?! I have been waiting for this rifle to arrive in stores. Guess who owns that one now?
Good deal. Have been waiting for some more feedback on these. I am not in the market, but some friends are. Please post a review when you shoot it. I still prefer the "original" stock (still think I have one), but looking forward to a report. Enjoy!

I just got this in a promotional email from an online retailer that's based here in North Texas.

What was it? The ads pulled. Congrats!
Yeah - the ads pulled because I bought it! It was the brand new, just released to the public, Montana Rifle Company Tsavo .375. and like etsonaut said - "it's a lot of gun for the money."

I more meant it didn’t come up as “sold” like a lot of adds.
Nice purchase! I’m glad MRC are back.

Going back several posts on this thread— I bought the .426 Rigby Ruger RSM from a Bass Pro in Texas and they shipped to my local Bass Pro. It came in 2 days ago— cracked stock and all! Local store saw it when they unwrapped it. They didn’t want to sell it like that and I didn’t want to buy it like that. Got immediate refund for full purchase price and tax. Will keep looking…

So if anyone wants a semi custom 416, you know where to start the build

Oh my gosh, I am so bummed to hear that. What a shame and a needless loss, no doubt due to negligent packaging on behalf of my local store.

I’ve almost stopped buying transfer rifles from Bass Pro/Cabela’s for this very reason. They pack rifles terribly.

cash-tx n0 hard feelings! Just a bad deal all around. I was really pumped to get it and was terribly disappointed when my local guys pointed out the crack. BUT-- it gives me something to do and to look for on this site.
Will have to make due with my .375 for now.

I had a very similar occurrence with Cabelas. I ordered a rifle and had it sent to the Kodak location here in TN. The forend was cracked to the point a chunk of the stock fell off on the counter. The manager came over and was visibly embarrassed. He said, "Well, looks like you need a new stock." He pulled up Boyd's on his phone and asked me to pick one out. I picked a nice one but nothing extraordinary. He took the price of the stock and $50 for any additional fitting needed off the price of the rifle. I shook his hand and thanked him for making things right. All around good experience.

Both are nice rigs!

$4499 on the Winchester didn’t seem like any kind of deal. Refinished. While the stock looks nice, they didn’t do the best job on the rest. Especially the metal refinish.

See you are from Denmark - see quite a few Danes where I stalk in Scotland - great hunters.
The Harkilia stuff works well in Africa - I have a bit for use here in UK.
I am again looking for 600 Nitro dies preferably RCBS 1 inch. The set I purchased previously are 1 1/2 inch and do not fit my die. Another member has graciously taken them off my hands. If anyone happens to have a set of 600 Nitro Dies that will fit my Rockchucker Supreme RCBS press, please shoot me a message and thanks in advance for any assistance you may have to offer!
I have not posted any items for sale on this forum and will not every put anything for sale. My account was hacked and I've worked with the admin to get things shut down.
