Good Gun Deals This Week

I still want one of these. Frosty @Hornedfrogbbq went over and looked through some of these. They are all DSB and PH models. All are recent mfg and mostly straight grain, plain wood. They got a bunch of them in, all in 450 Rigby and 404 Jeffery.

I keep looping back to the 450 Rigby time and again…and of course now when Cabelas is flush with them, I can’t locate Norma brass that was all over the place it seemed last year. I bought my 505 Gibbs in the dry desert valley between Norma runs and it’s a true PIA.

Probably you know but there is some Grizzly ammo for sale albeit at sky high price
 
Yeppers, saw that. But as much as I shoot, I’m not buying ammo sold in 5-packs, even for the brass. I expect we’ll see Norma brass again, just unsure if this year or 3-years from now. Anyone’s guess.
 
I think this photo may be why it is cheap.

The lever seems to be scraping the receiver. No clue of repair costs, but I suspect you can buy a new one for less than the price of the gun plus repair.
 
Backcountry and hunting revolvers!

I'm a big fan of the 3" Grizzly and the 4.25" Kodiak.

EuroOptic has the Colt Kodiak and Colt Grizzly on sale for only $1459. Colt is offering a $100 rebate at present also.

The Colt Kodiak is an Anaconda with an unfluted cylinder and ported barrel in stainless steel. It's the 44mag. The Colt Grizzly is a Python with an unfluted cylinder and ported barrel in stainless steel. It's the 357mag. Both are considered excellent backcountry revolvers. They never go on sale.





 
I was also under the impression that the cocking lever being so far askew from center indicates a problem.

I would need to see it in person before that was disqualifying. I have a lot of guns with some wear where the lever rubbed the top strap. It generally doesn’t negatively impact lockup.
