Hello all,

I have read many posts here and decided to join the conversation. I have hunted South Africa twice, 2019 and 2025. The first trip was in the Karoo for PG. I was fortunate enough to get the following:
Impala, Springbok, Gemsbok, Eland and Wildebeest (Blue and Black).

This year’s trip was in Zululand (Pongola Game Preserve) where I was blessed to take the following:
Cape Buffalo, Nyala and Zebra

My question for the group is where can I source some lighter 9.3mm bullets… thinking 232 grain Oryx and Vulcans in the US?

Best to all.

Welcome to AH 9Point3!

Midway USA or mid south shooters supply list them for sale. I use the 232 grain oryx for use on whitetail deer and wild hogs.

I‘m selling some 'strongjacketed' bullets. Although not 232 gr but 262 gr. They are excellent and of German origin (DWM/Mayer).
Bullets are in Germany, I could ship them to you.

Also selling .366 300 gr Swift A-Frame bullets.

I am unfamiliar with those bullets and will look into them. I would like 232 grain bullets.

you can ship from Germany, but they are import restricted in the US. And most parcels are -x-rayed, so they would not go through is undeclared. You'd need an import permit before they are sent.

I have a question about your scope. Is the Innomount an SR-to-Picatinny mount?

Just moving to DM. Yes, please ask your friend if he knows somebody who might be willing to support a persistent hunt in the snow.

Hi Paul,
This is Daniel from Mankazana Safaris.

I saw your post regarding a hunt in Africa. I am sure you have been bombarded with messages and replies from other outfitters, so I will keep this one quick.
I have a feeling we have exactly what you need for a first safari.
If you'd like to hear more, please don't hesitate to reach out.
